Where it started

The coffee shop
taught me everything.

Your barista remembers your order. Your AI should remember your brand.

the principle behind everything I build

From 2022 to 2024, I owned Lalies and The Dutch, a coffee shop in Cobourg, Ontario. Something happened there that I couldn't stop thinking about.

Regulars would walk in and we already knew their order. No menu. No explanation. Just a nod, a smile, and "the usual?" They came back not just for the coffee. They came back because they felt known.

When I started working with business owners on their AI content, I kept seeing the opposite. Every month, someone would sit down, open ChatGPT, and re-explain their business from scratch. Who they are. Who they serve. What makes them different.

The output was generic every time. Not because AI is bad at writing, but because AI had no memory of who they were. They never gave it the chance to remember.

What people say

Real results from real operators.

We brought Melanie in to teach us how to use AI in research and branding and she was great. She took something that could have felt overwhelming and made it feel accessible and actionable. I walked away informed and equipped to use what I learned and implemented it that very day.

The background

Twenty years.
Two continents.
One consistent problem.

I've watched small business owners struggle with the same thing since I was eighteen. Different industries, different countries, different tools. Same gap.

Dezines Creative Thinking

Founded Dezines Creative Thinking, a branding and marketing consultancy. Years of working with hundreds of businesses across industries, one repeating pattern: operators who were great at what they did, invisible online because their marketing had no structure underneath it.

Cobourg, Ontario

New country. Same problem.

Immigrated to Canada with my family. The market changed. The accents changed. The structural problem with how small businesses showed up online did not.

Lalies and The Dutch

Owned a coffee shop. Learned in person what it feels like to be known by name, and watched the inverse play out in every AI conversation I sat in on with clients.

AI Blueprint

Methodology, named.

Rebranded everything. Not because AI was trending. Because the restart loop had cost businesses real money for long enough, and the solution finally had a name.

How it works

Foundation-first.
Output that sounds like you.

Most AI advice starts at Step 4: write better prompts. AI Blueprint starts at Step 0: build the foundation your prompts pull from. That single difference is why our output sounds like you instead of everyone else.

STEP 01

Brand Foundation

Document your voice, your clients, your offers, and your differentiators once, in a structured format AI can actually use.

STEP 02

Client Clarity

Capture the exact language your best clients use, the problems they bring to you, and the outcomes they care about.

STEP 03

Positioning

Define what makes your business distinct in plain language, so AI produces content that reflects your real edge.

STEP 04

Prompt Execution

Run structured prompts that pull from your foundation. The output sounds specific because it is.

STEP 05

Consistent Output

Every session starts from the same foundation. No restarting. No re-explaining. No generic copy.

Endless re-explaining. AI never remembers who you are because you never gave it a foundation to pull from.

The foundation takes twenty minutes to build. After that, every prompt pulls from it. The output sounds specific because it is.

Who this is for

Built for Canadian
service businesses.

Not enterprise. Not freelancers still finding their niche. AI Blueprint exists for operators who are good at what they do and want their marketing to reflect that, consistently.

Accountants & bookkeepers

Compliance-heavy industries where consistency matters and "AI sounding like a robot" is a dealbreaker.

Mortgage brokers & advisors

Financial pros who need content that feels human, builds trust, and stays on the right side of compliance.

Physiotherapists & clinic owners

Client-facing healthcare practices that want consistent presence without giving up their voice.

Coaches & consultants

Service businesses where your voice IS the offer, and generic AI output dilutes the brand you spent years building.

Plumbers, electricians, trades

Trades that show up when customers need them, and need their marketing to do the same without taking time off the truck.

HVAC & landscapers

Seasonal service businesses where content fall-off in shoulder months costs you the next busy season.

Real estate agents

Agents building a personal brand who want their feed to sound like them, not the agent at the next brokerage.

Small nonprofits

Mission-driven organizations with a paid team and limited bandwidth, but high expectations on every piece of communication.

VAs & content managers

Pros running content for multiple clients. The Blueprint method scales because the foundation is reusable per brand.

is this you?

If you run a service business in Canada and you've tried AI and gotten generic output, this was built for you.

Real talk

I built the system.
Then I got caught in my own
version of the loop.

The AI Blueprint platform was ready eight months before I launched it.

Eight months of tweaking, second-guessing, and waiting until it felt perfect. Meanwhile, the business was invisible. Not because the product wasn't ready. Because I wasn't ready.

"Done beats perfect" is not a motivational line I picked up from a book. It's something I learned the hard way, sitting with a finished product I was too afraid to publish.

If you've been waiting until you have more time, more budget, or a clearer plan, I understand that better than most. The foundation takes twenty minutes to build. The compounding starts the day after that.
